OK, yet more of the local Little Owl but in nice evening sunlight and dark background. I used the 500mm plus 2 x TC. I have never been impressed with the 2 x but these are not bad. The shots taken with the 1.4 didn't have the reach. Reasonably happy with fair detail although ISO was mid range.
