Taken on two dates in the dark mangroves near the hotel golf course. Originally found by Newton George. Very unusual bird and larger than I first thought. Poor backlit position but best I could do whilst being eaten by mosquitos.

Just getting round to posting a few shots from the holiday. Some of these taken as fishermen were bringing in the catch and throwing the birds a few titbits. One joker was trying to catch the birds, presumably to eat, or maybe just for a laugh. All shots taken with my 1DX and my holiday lens (100-400mkii).
